Obama’s Oval Office premiere kept most pundits salivating for more, but Robert Gibbs knocked his own debut out of the park.
Working from comments chosen by YouTube Moderator, Press Secretary Gibbs and Macon Phillips, director of new media for the White House, answered ten questions selected by the YouTube community ranging from why the government turned down offers from Denmark to how Gibbs, as a parent, would react (“my son’s car will not run on fossil fuel”) to the situation in the gulf coast.
While Gibbs’ online debut rang a bit longer than the president’s, there’ll be another online question and answer session held featuring other questions voted on by the YouTube commenters on the White House’s Channel.
