Hillary Clinton Returns to "Rodham" and Helmets

January 7, 2013 By WHC Insider

A new year means a new beginning for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, even if she is on the way out and into a much needed vacation. The New York Times looks at secretary Clinton’s return today as an overall description of her non-stop work schedule:

“Over the past four years, she was on the road for 401 days and spent the equivalent of 87 full days on a plane, according to the State Department’s Web site.In one 48-hour marathon in 2009 that her aides still talk about, she traveled from talks with Palestinian leaders in Abu Dhabi to a midnight meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, then boarded a plane for Morocco, staying up all night to work on other issues, before going straight to a meeting of Arab leaders the next morning.“

The frantic work schedule in the offices of Mrs. Rodham Clinton aren’t anything new since 2000 when elected as a New York Senator. She became infamous for routinely driving her staff through the night in order to focus on legislation ranging from jobs to supporting New York in post-9/11. BuzzFeed whipped together the infographic to end all infographics for folks that think they work “hard.” Compared to Hillary, you haven’t even come close to dancing in her shoes. All of that travel caught up with her since September after receiving a nasty bug, which sidelined her at home into the concussion heard around the Internet. That lead to a flurry of pundents claiming if football players can handle it, so can she. Which is ironic since it turns out even RG3 can’t physically handle “it.”

Rest couldn’t hurt the departing secretary of state. She’s at an all-time high for popularity and even has her own biopic in the works–tentatively titled Rodham. We’ll miss our Hill-on-Hill, but she’s stronger than ever to take over in 2016 if it comes down to that. Plus, she has the awesome new helmet to bash through any opposition:
