“Taya’s story is so inspirational. In the time since her husband was killed in 2013, she has made it her mission to let military families know it’s OK to share their suffering. She feels that anyone who is suffering from loss can draw a lot of strength and confidence from sharing with others so they know they aren’t alone.
“Her book, American Wife: A Memoir of Love, War, Faith, and Renewal, is just one of the many ways that she hopes to reach others with this message, along with the work she does through the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.”
