Bernie Sanders may have had the “America” ad to drive voters in the primaries, but now Hillary Clinton’s campaign has a Carole King favorite in an ad in the final week.
King, a four-time Grammy winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Kennedy Center Honoree, wrote or co-wrote over 100 pop hits in the U.S. and U.K. She has made 25 solo albums, including Tapestry, which held the record for sitting at the top of the charts longer than any other female artist for more than 20 years. Her record sales have been estimated at more than 75 million copies worldwide.
