“Full Court Press with Greta Van Susteren” is taking on politics from the local community point of view. Joining Ms. Van Susteren with reports from the field were Teri Russell from KOLO Reno, Nevada, and Nick Ochsner  WBTV Charlotte, North Carolina. Watch  HERE.

Gray’s Chief National Political Analyst, Greta Van Susteren, questioned Tulsi Gabbard on her reaction to new Congressional efforts to Impeach President Trump, President Trump’s diversion of Defense Department finds to build a wall at the border, DNC Debate Exclusion and her suit against Google. on a number of topics including the current effort by the House Judiciary Committee to vote to define the impeachment investigation of President Trump, the Democratic National Committee (DNC)’s decision to exclude her from the upcoming debate and a variety of other topics. This is the first time Gabbard has commented on the House Judiciary Committee’s effort on impeachment.

Watch Greta’s full-length interview with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on “Full Court Press Overtime”. Here are highlights of the show:

Van Susteren: Congress is coming back this week, and the House Judiciary Committee is planning on voting on an expanded impeachment inquiry. Do you support this?

Gabbard: I don’t. I think it’s important for us to think about what’s in the best interest of the country and the American people. Continuing to pursue impeachment is something that I think will only further tear our country apart… We need to defeat Donald Trump, and I think it’s important for our country’s sake and our future that the voters in this country are the ones who do that, and I believe that we will.

Mr. Dungy, who has met with five U.S. presidents including President Trump, called for voters to take a stand if they are unhappy with the current state of politics in America during his interview with Van Susteren.

Coach Dungy: I think we need to make a difference, as an electorate, and say, ‘If this is not working, if this is not what I want in my country, I need to not elect those types of leaders. But somehow we’ve got to attract the right people back into politics. It’s tough for people who want to bring that type of mindset to go into the political arena now, because that’s not what wins, that’s not what we elect. And I think we need to make a difference, as an electorate, and say, “If this is not working, if this is not what I want in my country, I need to not elect those type of leaders.” But somehow we’ve got to track the right people back into politics.”

“Full Court Press” is a Sunday political show broadcast on all of Gray’s 93 markets and syndicated in leading cities including New York, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles covering 76% of the country. Greta Van Susteren joined Gray Television as an anchor and political analyst in April 2019.

Trump Fails To Make State of the Union Ratings Great Again

January 31, 2018 By WHC Insider

Media Post’s  Joe Mandese reports that President Trump’s Nielson ratings are below previous presidents.

Donald Trump has been called the “ratings” President, because of his propensity to use the TV industry term to refer to his Presidential performance, and because he’s an ex-reality TV personality and producer. But based on Nielsen’s official ratings, the performance of his first State of the Union Address wasn’t exactly huge.

While it’s true that the ratings of Presidential State of the Union addresses have been trending downward in recent years, Trump’s first SOTU ranks only eighth in terms of viewers among the last 25 to be aired on the major broadcast and cable networks carrying it live, according to an analysis of Nielsen data.

Hollywood Reporter: Inside the WHC Garden Brunch: Lindsay Lohan, Greta Van Susteren and John Coale

May 1, 2012 By WHC Insider

Garden Brunch Guests: Shawn Chapman, John Coale, Greta Van Susteren, Kris Jenner and Lindsay Lohan

“While their evenings consisted of boozy, black tie affairs, the celebrity circuit that invaded Washington DC this past weekend was far from nocturnal. In between two nights of clanking glasses at done-up hotels and restaurants (including THR and Google’s Friday night party), the big players took advantage of the warm weather to celebrate each other in the garden, too.

The 19th annual White House Correspondents’ Association Garden Brunch was held on Saturday and held plenty of star-studded highlights. The party’s organizer, Tammy Haddad, reflected on the afternoon in an email discussion with The Hollywood Reporter.

As was the case for most of the weekend, Lindsay Lohan, a guest of Fox News, drew major attention. But it was all tranquility for Lilo this time. The star met with top level officials in the Obama campaign, such as David Axelrod and former Obama “body man” Reggie Love. Lohan reminsced with Fox News’ Ed Henry about growing up in Long Island, New York, and told the son of Tammy Haddad, one of the event’s organizers, that she still had the car from Herbie Fully Loaded in her garage (the young man was excited to meet her because he had seen the movie about 100 times).

Woody Harrelson appeared with Steve Schmidt, the GOP adviser that he played in HBO’s Game Change (the pair appeared together at THR and Google’s party the night before); Harrelson wowed onlookers with card tricks, having casually produced an entire deck from his pocket. Kerry Washington, who plays a DC spinmeister in ABC’s Scandal, also got kudos for her beltway portrayal.

California’s top two leaders, Gov. Jerry Brown and Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, couldn’t have been more different; Brown declined to speak to the press, while Newsom, who now has his own show on Current TV, took any and all questions.

Meanwhile, Elle Macpherson showed MSNBC host Willie Geist that all the talk television experience in the world couldn’t give him the type of attention-grabbing abilities that she has; while he couldn’t quiet the crowd, they almost immediately fell silent when the supermodel called for them to pipe down.”
